Event After The Play #1

Abigail steals a bunch of money and runs off with a few others.  I am pretty sure that they became prostitutes.  Why?  Because Abigail is lonely without me.  She even told me herself before I was hanged.
I knew this was going to happen.  She could not even bear to look at me anymore.  Her name was also ruined in this village.  I think that everyone left will be better off without her 16 year old mouth running a storm.

Event During The Play #3

I was obviously hung at the end of the play.  This was quite unfortunate for me.  But hey, maybe I'm in a better place.  I can honestly say, that I did not see this one coming.  I thought that at the end of the day, I would just end up in prison with my wife.  We tried to cover for each other, but it did not work out into either of our favors.    I can now see that this was for the better good because with out me, there will be no witches, because apparently, it is all my fault.  I did not make Mary Warren have anything to do with the devil.  It was all abigail and her brainwashing techniques.  I mean, I did make Mary Warren swear in the Devil's name, and try to make her do horrible things.  Whatevs.

I really hope that Elizabeth is going to be okay.  I really hope that she will be able to function with out me.  I am not trying to be conceited for anything, but with out me, I do not think she will be able to think straight.  She relies on me for things that she cannot do herself.  For example, she cannot harvest, seed, and plow all the crops throughout the year.  She also cannot do much manual work, like use tractors, for instance.  This whole diversion from Abigail was probably to get back at my wife, and not for one second do I blame Elizabeth for anything.

Event During The Play #2

Elizabeth had also gotten taken away from me.  They came to my house at a very unreasonable hour.  I was completely angry with almost everyone in the town.  WHen they took her, they came into my house, and "snooped" for things that they thought would convince the judge for witch craft.  I was completely P.O.ed.  Elizabeth then decided to not argue, and go with them.  Also, Mary Warren had a poppet, she also stuck a needle in the poppet.  This made Elizabeth look guilty of witchcraft.  They loaded her intop a horse-pulled wagon, and locked her up with chains.

My reaction to this was horrible.  I did not want her to be locked up with chains.  To me, this was completely uncalled for.  I just did not understand why they needed to chain her to the wagon.  Did they think that she would try to escape?  Elizabeth know better than that.  That would have only made matters worth for everyone in the town of Salem.  I was livid.  I am seriously surprised Elizabeth did not resist more than she did.  I was also able to keep my temper under control.  I had to trick my self that everything was going to be okay, and that Elizabeth and I were going to get out of this mess.... Alive.

Event During The Play #1

During the play, I have called upon Abigail to talk about the whole witch craft situation.  I did not get exactly what I ask looking for, but the details I got were good enough for the cause.  I know that she will never change.  Abigail is currently obsessed with me.  She does not know the word "NO!"  In all respect, everyone should know that no means no.  We cannot have a world with everyone forcing things upon each other.

My reaction to this event would be content.  I was able to say what I wanted to say.  Abigail was shocked about the whole situation, but to me, that sounds like a personal problem.  If she is not going to listen to anyone else, then she better listen to the man she is completely obsessed with.  Someone had to point out that what she was doing was wrong, and this whole situation will not get any better, until she confess' and everyone gets let off.  Especially my wife, because she is completely innocent.  Elizabeth cannot tell a lie.  My wife is an amazing person, wife, and mother.  Elizabeth does not deserve this.

About Me (:

Heyy(:  My name is John Proctor, and I have a blog.  I was the main character in the book and movie "The Crucible"  I was born, raised, and married in the town of Salem, Massachusetts.  This town is run under a theocracy to keep the townspeople in line, and also, keep the community together.  I have a wife, her name is Elizabeth Proctor.  I have two children, both boys, and their names are Jameson and Alexander.  I also have a servant living in my house, her name is Mary Warren.  Abigail Williams used to be my house-servant, but my wife kicked her to the curb because I had committed the crime of lechery with her.  To me, I was only looking for a good time, but like any other sixteen year-old girl, she wanted a relationship out of it.  I should have been more canny about this. I was never the vindictive one, but Abigail was, she tried to kill my wife, for kicking her out of my house, and she wonders why I refuse to touch her anymore.
I am about six foot tall, and I weigh about one-hundred eighty-four pounds.  I am very healthy.  In the town of Salem, everyone knows each other, and ideology seems to get the best of us all at times.  Sometimes, people can be so daft its not even funny.  Like right now, when everybody believes in witchcraft.  pssst, its not trueeee.  I still do care for abigail, but not enough to talk to her, i wont do anything more for her, than help her get out of this witchcraft scandal.
